Michael Lyndon-James is a Senior Associate at Ashurst LLP, in New York, New York. His practice is focused on both international and domestic renewable energy, and infrastructure- and resource-related transactions, with an emphasis on project finance and public-private partnerships, working with lenders, sponsors and public authorities.
Mr. Lyndon-James has recently advised on several landmark transport and infrastructure transactions, including representing the underwriters and bank lenders on the LAX Automated People Mover Project (North American PPP Deal of the Year – IJ Global Awards, 2019) and The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey on the Newark ConRAC Project (the first rental car project in the United States to be delivered on a demand risk basis).
Mr. Lyndon-James’ transactional experience also includes advising international and domestic clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, general corporate governance and capital markets.
Mr. Lyndon-James also maintains a robust pro bono practice and has recently taken a keen interest in researching and exploring the prospective impact of autonomous vehicles and associated technologies on the transportation and infrastructure sectors.
Mr. Lyndon-James holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Notre Dame, Australia and earned his law degree from Notre Dame Law School in 2011. He is licensed to practice law in both New York and Australia.
